God says in 2 Chronicles 20:15;
“You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.”
These are the same words God spoke to the Israelites when they cried out for help in the wilderness when being chased by the Egyptians.
Today, God’s message is the same. He’s still reassuring us that we can stand still when facing life’s battles. In other words, we can take the posture of “rest” when facing challenges because we know God is with us and will fight for us.
The devil might scream, “You’re being irresponsible. You can fix this! How can you not be worried about this? How can you not do anything?”
Sound familiar? God says, “can all of your worries add a single moment to your life? And if worry can’t accomplish a little thing like that, what the use of worrying over bigger things?” – Luke 12
Remember when God told the people of Judah to “stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.” Salvation, in the Hebrew, is translated to the name of Jesus, Yeshua! We are to stand still and take a position of rest, then see Jesus in the middle of any challenge we are facing.
This is our “fight of faith”. We are to trust and believe that God is in control and is true to His word. We are helpless if we try to fight ourselves. I mean, what exactly does that mean anyways? It’s our efforts trying to solve a situation. Why not relax your mind and spirit and let God do all the work?
Fight to enter His rest, and see all of your enemies fall at your feet!!
